At the Intersex Human Rights Fund, I took on the mission of developing strategies to communicate, educate, and raise awareness about intersex movements and intersex human rights. Our work focused on highlighting the importance of the Intersex Human Rights Fund, especially within the sphere of philanthropy. One of our significant accomplishments was the publication of the “We Are Real” report in 2016 – an important document that brought much-needed visibility and understanding about the intersex movement to the philanthropic sector and underscored our commitment to intersex justice everywhere.
